What types of payment do you accept?
We currently accept private pay and are a vendor with the Golden Gate Regional Center and the Regional Center of the East Bay. We are actively working to become in-network with a wider range of insurance companies. In the meantime, we will provide you with a Superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement per your insurance plan. Payment for a session is required at the time of service.
My child already has a speech and language evaluation. Do we need to get a new one at Brightside Speech Therapy?
If your child has a recent speech and language evaluation within the last year they may not need an additional evaluation at Brightside Speech Therapy. Schedule a welcome call to learn more!
What does in-home speech therapy look like?
Speech therapy in-home gives a child the opportunity to learn and practice their communication skills in their own environment. The therapist will bring all necessary materials and toys to your home, but may also use any toys or games at home that your child enjoys. A parent or guardian 18 years or older must be present in the home at all times. Parents are highly encouraged to join sessions and learn how they can support their child's communication.
Do you have a physical location?
Brightside Speech Therapy comes to you! Services are provided in-home, at your child's school or daycare (private only), or via teletherapy. Schedule a welcome call to see what option is the best fit for your child and family.
How long will my child need speech therapy?
The length of time a child will need speech therapy is variable and highly dependent on each individual child. Each child will receive a plan of care mapping out the expectant length of therapy. You can speak with your therapist to learn more about your child's unique needs and plan.
